Tiling a bathroom may sound like one of the most boring do-it-yourself tasks you could try, so why not make it a bit more interesting and install something that is as much a geek-inspired installation piece as a pragmatic tile-and-grout floor pattern.  Wondering how to start your next tile project? No, the other kind of plumbing fixtures – you know: lights, coat racks and the like. Faucets, sinks, toilets and showers are usually all we see of our household plumbing – end caps to an incredible network of hidden tubes and joints that supply us with water every day (and then drain it away again). Made to bend, twist and yet stand the test of time, plumbing pipes and fittings are just begging to be made into other kinds of furnishings...

The Unum Rain Shower and Hand Shower you’re about to see is, without a doubt, the kind of shower I’d like to install in my bathroom. Taking longer showers is definitely a habit the Unum Rain Shower and Hand Shower will support. Dave Hakkens has created Breaksoap , a new soap concept that removes hand pumps from the equation. Dave explains, “Most of the hand soap is replaced by soap pumps. However a lot of the soap pumps contain a lot of chemicals. The main reason why the hand pump was introduced is because it’s more hygienic and easier to use. I wanted to give the natural hand soap the same features so we could use the traditional soap again.” Watch...

Nothing says ‘this room is special’ like setting it apart both in terms of material choice and physical space. For residents of this ultra-modern loft, it is clear that the kitchen is the top priority; it is the core area around which the rest of the layout (also be the designers of GraftLab ) revolves. In plan, the angles of the kitchen define the adjacent spaces. In perspective, the …  Read More →

“L’invitation au voyage” is the message that this Haute Coutoure bathtub from Condor-Paris is trying to transmit.
