8 Searsville Road Fire...DENNIS - A fire damaged a South Dennis antique shop located at the intersection of Searsville Road, Great Western Road, and Upper County Road. Dennis and Harwich firefighters were called to 8 Searsville Road, Oxyoke Antiques, around 7:05 am on Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Upon arrival, firefighters saw smoke streaming from the eaves and roof of the garage-like structure. As crews entered the building, flames appeared at the rear but were quickly knocked down. The interior of the structure appeared to be heavily damaged. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
