Tom Price graduated with a Masters degree from the Royal College of Art in the year 2007. Since then, he has been expanding his career in design practices on a wide variety of projects and commissions. The designer sees chance as being an important factor in design. He uses chance as a tool for his designs; his ideas are usually victims of serendipity. His work tends to be sculptural in appearance and is influenced by his background in fine arts. His recent projects also reflect his interest in exploring the boundaries between art and design. His outstanding Meltdown Chairs are the most interesting of his designs.
