Materials: Pink Malm, Spray paint primer, Interior Latex Olympic Paint in White Mood, Spray Paint in Seaside Green, Brushes, Stencil, Tape Description: My daughter has had this dresser for a few years, and as she got older and her favorite color went from pink to green, I thought it was only fitting that the Malm followed suit. Remember his crazy cubic chandeliers ? Here he is again – Robert at the peak of his student career, creating something at once simple but with infinite potential. Each of the six sides to each cube is independently flexible,...

*Image from All About You . Growing up, my mom was continually redecorating our surroundings. Although we moved rather frequently, once we were situated somewhere, it wouldn’t be long before my older brother and I would come home from school only to hear mom’s inevitable “What if we moved the couch to the other wall and put the love seat over here?” I picked up the rearranging fever from her, continually tweaking and...

I’ll admit from the start I’m not much of a fan of these Concrete Wall wallpapers. Sure I appreciate the imagination and the effort behind their design, but most of them, and there are plenty of versions to choose from, seem too depressing for me and therefore I would think more than twice before choosing them for my new home. But the Concrete Wall patterns look pretty real and they might fit quite well with a few modern designs  Read More →

Sick of rearranging the power strip to make everything fit? Annoyed by the way a slightly-to-wide plug can take up more than its fair share of space partially covering one (or even two) other slots? Or frustrated with the fact that some cords come straight out while others bend sharply in some random direction? This slider-style socket idea (in this case rendered by Chen Yinfeng) is actually not brand new. In fact, variants on the core idea...
